These Terms of Service ("Terms") constitute a legally binding agreement between you and GlucoGuide Ltd ("GlucoGuide", "we", "our", or "us"), a company registered in England and Wales.

By accessing or using the GlucoGuide application, website, or any related services (collectively, the "Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, you must not use the Service.

We may modify these Terms at any time. Your continued use of the Service after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the modified Terms.

You acknowledge that GlucoGuide is a wellness and educational tool. Any health-related information provided is for general informational purposes only and is not intended as a substitute for professional medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment.

3. Eligibility

To use GlucoGuide, you must:

• Have the legal capacity to enter into a binding agreement

We strive to maintain service availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. The Service may be temporarily unavailable due to maintenance, updates, or circumstances beyond our control. We will provide reasonable notice of planned maintenance where possible.

6. User Responsibilities

You agree to use the Service responsibly and lawfully. You must not:

• Violate any applicable laws or regulations
• Infringe on intellectual property rights
• Transmit malicious code, viruses, or harmful content

7. Free Service

GlucoGuide is provided as a free service. We believe that tools to help people understand and manage their diabetes should be accessible to everyone without financial barriers.

While the Service is free, you are responsible for any costs associated with accessing the internet or mobile data required to use the Service.

GlucoGuide and its original content, features, and functionality are owned by GlucoGuide Ltd and are protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. Our trademarks and trade dress may not be used without prior written permission.

8.2 Your Rights

You retain ownership of any data you provide. By using the Service, you grant us a limited licence to use, process, and store your data solely to provide and improve the Service, as described in our Privacy Policy.

9. Third-Party Services

GlucoGuide integrates with third-party devices and services (e.g., Dexcom, Freestyle Libre, Apple Health, Fitbit). Your use of these services is subject to their respective terms and privacy policies. We are not responsible for the availability, accuracy, or reliability of third-party services.

Links to third-party websites or services do not constitute endorsement. We are not liable for any loss or damage arising from your use of third-party services.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law:

• GlucoGuide is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind
• We do not guarantee that the Service will meet your requirements or be error-free
• We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages
• Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid for the Service in the 12 months preceding the claim

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, fraud, or any other liability that cannot be excluded by law.

11. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless GlucoGuide, its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses (including legal fees) arising from your use of the Service, violation of these Terms, or infringement of any third-party rights.

12. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time, with or without cause, with or without notice. You may terminate your account at any time by contacting us or using the account deletion feature in the app.

Upon termination, your right to use the Service will cease immediately. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination will survive, including intellectual property, limitation of liability, and dispute resolution provisions.

13. Dispute Resolution

We encourage you to contact us first to resolve any disputes informally. If a dispute cannot be resolved informally, it shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.

14. Governing Law

• Entire Agreement: These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and GlucoGuide
• Severability: If any provision is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue in effect
• Waiver: Our failure to enforce any right or provision does not constitute a waiver
• Assignment: You may not assign these Terms without our consent; we may assign our rights freely
• Force Majeure: We are not liable for delays or failures caused by circumstances beyond our reasonable control
